I have been banned from or kicked out of a chat room

Ask yourself these questions:

Is it a Trouble Network chat room? If you violate the Code of Conduct in an Trouble-created chat room, you can be kicked out or banned. Depending on the severity of the violation, you may be warned first or you may be kicked out immediately.

Is it a Member-created chat room? Member chat rooms set their own rules for banning or kicking out members. When you join a room, you agree to abide by the rules set by the Host. If you are kicked out, you can wait and try to join it again later.

Can I get back in? You can return immediately to a chat room you have been kicked out of. However, you may have to wait up to 24 hours before you can return to a chat room you have been banned from. Normally a Ban Time is Set when you are kicked from the room. if you are Consistant Pests The Sysop’s and Admins or Trouble Network may pernamantly ban you from chat.

• · If you get a message that the server intentionally denied you access, then it's likely that your Internet Service Provider has been banned from the network. Sometimes it's necessary to ban an entire ISP to keep one of the ISP's users off the network. Unfortunately, this keeps all the ISP's users off the network.
• · Most bans last about one or two days, so you should try to connect again a few hours later. If you are still unable to connect after several days, send us an e-mail, using the Contact Us link at the bottom of this help topic.
